These are questions this book answers as we introduce children to the basic vocabulary, safe practices and concepts that are important for operating drones. From coloring and counting drones to word puzzles and mazes, we want to make learning about drones fun!You and your child will see many girls along with boys, pictured in this book. STEM and NGSS (Next Gen Sci Standards) are essential to incorporate early-on in k-12 education. Drone girls are in the lead, finally, throughout this "thinking" coloring book. Not only does it serve as a beginning foundation for discussion about cool drone activities, but also keeps them on the page(s), asking questions, e.g., what's different? Diversity...a representation of cultures and balance...are also required when adopting classroom resources. I love that Sharon and Wendy integrate global "faces and fabric." Finally, a new balance with girls taking the lead, yet does include a boys as well. As a former k-8 educator, I would recommend for clubs, home school and science kits as a tool to get more girls on the STEM playing field early on.
